Federation of Quebec Maple Syrup Producers

Founded in 1966 by virtue of the Loi sur les syndicats professionnels (Union Act), the Federation of Quebec Maple Syrup Producers was created to support the interests of 10,000 maple syrup producers across Quebec province. These producers work in some 7,300 maple syrup companies and are distributed across 11 regional maple syrup producers’ union groups.

The FPAQ plays a role within the following organizations:

  • Maple syrup producers’ union
  • International Maple Syrup Institute
  • Key stakeholders’ group of the maple syrup industry
  • ACER Centre
